Th-th-th-that's all folks!

Just like that, we are done with two weeks of digging! I'm sad because that means it's almost time to leave but I'm also happy that I can rest and finally start getting clean! I lathered, rinsed, and repeated today!

We had a very good last day on the dig. It was much hotter but everyone managed to stay hydrated and on their feet. We had hummus and falafel for lunch again today because the hotel wanted to make us something special and it takes hours to make it. It was delicious!

This afternoon, we went to the modern western part of Jerusalem to check it out and hang out for a little while. We went to Ben Yehuta street and had some snacks and drinks while we waited for the evening party to start. We rode the train to get there so we didn't have to walk as much. 

There were 3 McDonalds on the way trough town!

We also had a goodbye party on the roof with everyone who dug during the first two weeks. We did skits making fun of various people on the dig and it was truly a lot of fun.
